The California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) has recognised Kenwood and Mumm Napa for Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE). Being a sustainable winegrower is acknowledgment of our high-quality grape and wine production, as well as our commitment to protect the environment and enhance the local community by implementing sustainable winegrowing practices that are environmentally sound, socially equitable and economically viable.
The California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) has recognised Kenwood and Mumm Napa for Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE). Being a sustainable winegrower is acknowledgment of our high-quality grape and wine production, as well as our commitment to protect the environment and enhance the local community by implementing sustainable winegrowing practices that are environmentally sound, socially equitable and economically viable.
Jo-Anna Partridge, VP of Operations for Pernod Ricard Winemakers USA, said that the certification is recognition of the hard work and dedication of the team in embedding sustainable winegrowing practices across Kenwood and Mumm Napa's vineyards.

Certification not only recognises our achievements to date, but also our commitment to continuing improvement in this area.'
The certification includes five vineyards ' Kenwood Vineyards, Carriger Vineyard, Devaux Ranch, Lone Pine Vineyard and Yoakim Bridge Vineyard ' and required Kenwood and Mumm Napa to meet a number of requirements, including:

' Wildlife Habitat Protection
' Solid Waste Management
' Strong Relationships with Employees, Neighbours and Communities
' Air Quality Protection
' Environmentally Preferable Purchasing
' High Quality Grapes and Wine
' Vibrant Businesses
Introduced in 2010, Certified Sustainable is administered by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA), a leader in promoting sustainable winegrowing practices within the California wine industry. CSWA is a non-profit organization created in 2003 by Wine Institute and the California Association of Winegrape Growers.
