Stéphanie Durroux is a HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) graduate. She began her career in 1996 at Hachette Livre (Lagardère Group) where she held the position of Market Research Manager. In 1999, she joined the Michelin Group (maps and travel guides division) where she was in charge of Marketing and Communication for digital activities (ViaMichelin) for 5 years.
In 2004, Stéphanie joined the Pernod Ricard group in China (Shanghai) as Project Manager, Wine Business Development for the local market. She then became Brand Director, Martell Cognac for China, prior to taking the international position of Global Brand Director for Martell, in Paris. In 2010, she became Global Brand Director for G.H Mumm and Perrier-Jouët Champagnes, before creating the Strategy and Planning department within Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët, as Global Strategy Development Director.
In 2015, she was appointed Marketing Director for the French market, first for Ricard SAS and then for both Ricard SAS and Pernod SA.
In 2018, Stephanie moved to Sweden to lead the Pernod Ricard market companies in Northern Europe, based in Stockholm. In September 2020, she was appointed Chairwoman and CEO of The Absolut Company.
