Anil Measuria

Anil Measuria, Digital CX Lead

From initially researching what Pernod Ricard UK stands for and recognising its world-renowned drinks portfolio, I knew I wanted to be a part of this. The organisation truly embraces its people, offering a warm and convivial culture whilst challenging the norm with an entrepreneurial mindset, and from day one you really feel these values.

Since joining in 2019 as an eCommerce Marketing Manager where I utilised new digital technologies and managed the marketing for our online customers, I’ve enjoyed achieving many ‘firsts’ for the business and have been rewarded with some exciting results. We recently collaborated with Amazon to live stream a cocktail masterclass during the Christmas period which enabled our team to entertain consumers at home whilst increasing sales across our spirits portfolio.

The agile nature of Pernod Ricard UK means that it recognises opportunities and adapts quickly. As a result, I have recently taken on the exciting challenge of leading the Digital Customer Experience department to help reach our goal of becoming a ‘digital first’ business. I look forward to achieving new heights in the digital environment, working collectively with our highly skilled teams and industry partners.

Emily Robinson

Emily Robinson, eBusiness Manager

Having joined Pernod Ricard UK over five years ago, I have learnt more than I ever thought possible! I’ve worked across a variety of roles, starting my career in the Field Sales teams learning about our Grocery business and managing our On-Trade accounts in West London. I then became an Account Executive on Tesco, understanding how our products make their way onto the shelves of the major retailers followed by a move into the convenience channel as an Account Manager. More recently I have moved into our eBusiness team to look after our Grocer.com accounts – an exciting role to be in whilst online is at the forefront of customer purchase trends.

Throughout my career, I’ve been supported by colleagues and mentors, with multiple first-class training courses and the opportunity to attend external courses to develop my skillset. I was even lucky enough to attend a course at Oxford University’s Business School last year.

Working at Pernod Ricard UK is underpinned by one thing – conviviality. As a business, it’s a fun and sociable place to work, mirroring the brands in our portfolio. The regular Company events, whether virtual or in real life, attending some of the best restaurants in London, or flying to the Jameson distillery in Dublin for our Company conference, are always hotly anticipated, and this is where our convivial spirit comes alive with great brands and great people. Pernod Ricard UK has given me experiences I never thought I would have!

Harry Jones

Harry Jones, Customer Account Manager

In 2013, I joined the Commercial Off-Trade Field Sales Team at Pernod Ricard UK as an Account Development Executive – my first job after graduating from university. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to progress through four commercial roles, gaining experience across On-Trade Field Sales and Off-Trade Account Management, before taking on my current role as Customer Account Manager for our Tesco Wine and Marks & Spencer accounts. My key responsibilities include developing the footprint, visibility and profitability of our brands, managing customer relationships and communication, and liaising internally with colleagues across multiple functions to ensure the ongoing success of our business.

We are very fortunate at Pernod Ricard UK to work with outstanding market-leading brands, but it is the culture of our business that truly sets it apart and makes it such an enjoyable place to work. I have received high-quality sales, presenting and negotiation training throughout my career progression, and have worked with exceptional line managers who have assisted in the development of my commercial skillset. Every employee genuinely embraces the Company ethos of being ‘creators of conviviality’ – we work hard to be the best, but also ensure that we take the time to celebrate and enjoy our successes together.

Jeremy Clark

Jeremy Clarke, IT Services Project Manager

I initially joined Pernod Ricard UK in 2015 as the IT intern on the Company’s Bright Futures programme, spending my year-long placement developing internal applications to replace older systems and processes that were Excel-based and needed modernising. I worked with industry technologies like Microsoft SQL Server, QlikView, and C#, and developed my final year university project with the new skills that I’d learnt. Following graduation, I joined Pernod Ricard as an IT Helpdesk Analyst and provided L1 and L2 IT support to colleagues across the UK and its Travel Retail business.

The Company provides me with opportunities to work on significant projects spanning multiple affiliates, the most recent being the move of three UK-based affiliates into our new London office. In 2020, I moved into an IT Project Manager role for the North West Europe region and I am now responsible for projects and escalation topics for 8 Pernod Ricard affiliates in 6 countries. This allows me to work closely with the specialist teams at Pernod Ricard at a Group level and represent our region within those communities. The Company entrusts me with high levels of responsibility and has supported me as I expanded from the UK into my regional role.

Murielle Dessenis

Murielle Dessenis, Global Brand Director

My journey with Pernod Ricard has seen me experience a variety of roles in different markets, starting in Marseille working as a Brand Manager on the iconic Ricard brand before moving to Whiskies and then our Aperitif portfolio. After a short break gaining innovation experience within the organic food industry, I returned to Pernod Ricard in France as Nightlife Brand Director across brands including Absolut, Malibu, Kahlua and Beefeater. In 2019, I made the move to London to join Pernod Ricard UK within The Gin Hub as Global Brand Director for Beefeater, leading the development of the brand’s global marketing strategy including the launch of a new communications platform, pack restage and innovation pipeline.

I’m fortunate to be in the unique position of working within a Brand Company that is part of a Market Company, meaning we benefit from experimenting, learning and optimising best practices to roll out worldwide. With the UK being an innovation-driven market, and London an inspiring and cultural epicentre, there are lots of influences that help us balance business vision with shaping the brand for the future. What makes Pernod Ricard UK a really attractive place to work though is the culture and organisational traits. The caring recruitment process considered my situation as a mum of two, and diversity & inclusion is ingrained within the business which has allowed me to build a team from across Europe and LATAM who all embrace the core convivial values of Pernod Ricard. In addition, the Company’s commitment to helping promote equality through participation in initiatives such as International Women’s Day, and supporting the hospitality industry through donations to The Drinks Trust, have fuelled my pride in working for such a great business.

Pam Faetz

Pam Faetz, Demand Planning Manager

I joined Pernod Ricard UK six years ago as a Demand Planner and progressed to a managerial position just 18 months later. My role as Demand Planning Manager provides me with the opportunity for  a wide range of stakeholder contacts through activities such as validating volume forecast plans with Commercial colleagues, collating and supporting estimations for new product launches with the Brand teams, executing delivery of Gifting with Customer Marketing, aligning plans with Finance and understanding crucial requirements with Supply Chain contacts and key customers.

Following a full year of maternity leave, I have been fortunate to return and retain my role whilst reducing to four working days, utilising the Company’s SMART working policy to meet the needs of my role whilst maintaining a positive work-life balance. Being in the Operations team continues to provide me with fast paced and varied opportunities, whilst being surrounded by talented and hardworking colleagues.

Rianna Hepburn

Rhianna Hepburn, Digital Marketing Apprentice

My role as a Digital Marketing Apprentice at Pernod Ricard UK has given me a fantastic introduction to the world of work. It gives me the opportunity to work with a range of professionals from across the business and get involved in exciting projects, such as our virtual Christmas cocktail masterclasses and analysing web traffic around our brands. With the support and guidance of my colleagues, I have improved my data analysis and programming skills, which I have been able to develop even further through my academic learning at university.

I feel proud to work for an organisation that thrives on conviviality, where I have been welcomed with open arms and consistently feel supported by my team. Pernod Ricard UK’s working culture evokes kindness, hope and inclusivity which is so important in the current climate. I cannot wait to see how my apprentice journey continues to grow at the Company.
