We strive to minimize waste at every stage – designing, producing, and distributing products in a way that optimizes and conserves natural resources.
We continually improve our environmental impact by focusing on reducing CO₂ emissions, decreasing water usage, and utilizing renewable energy sources – our facilities and offices purchase electricity from renewable sources. From the fiscal year 2022 to 2024, we reduced CO₂ emissions in scopes 1 and 2 by 29.5% and water usage by 16%.
Packaging and promotional materials used at points of sale represent the second-largest share of greenhouse gas emissions in our value chain. To reduce their impact on CO₂ emissions, we undertake a range of actions based on the 5R principle (rethink, reuse, reduce, recycle, respect). We focus on improving eco-design by reducing packaging weight and increasing the proportion of recycled materials. We encourage suppliers to develop CO₂ reduction strategies and implement joint initiatives aimed at reducing emissions generated in their production processes. Additionally, we analyze alternative packaging models to implement more sustainable solutions.
