Julien Hemard, MANAGING DIRECTOR NORTHERN EUROPE ENTITY
Julien took up the new position of Managing Director Northern Europe Entity on September 1, 2023. He took over as Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Germany and Western Europe on July 1, 2022. Julien already has an extensive career in the premium spirits industry and has held various positions in marketing, sales and general management in Asia, the Pacific, the UK and the US. Most recently, he was Group Sales Chief Transformation Office at the headquarters in Paris.
Nevzat Akkiz, CHIEF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR NORTHERN EUROPE ENTITY
Nevzat Akkiz has been with Pernod Ricard since 2017. He began his journey as Finance Director for Turkey, later expanding his responsibilities in 2021 to oversee the MENAT region (Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey). In 2023, Nevzat was appointed Chief Financial Officer for Africa and the Middle East. Before joining Pernod Ricard, Nevzat held several senior finance leadership roles, including Regional Finance Director at Brown-Forman from 2009 to 2016.
Mario Richertzhagen, HR DIRECTOR NORTHERN EUROPE ENTITY
Mario started at Pernod Ricard Germany in 2020 and has held the position of HR Director Northern Europe Entity since September 1, 2023. Before joining the company as Talent & Acquisition Manager, he began his career as branch manager of a medium-sized personnel service provider, from which he moved to SMA Solar Technology AG as HR Officer in 2009. From 2013 to 2020, he held various positions within Nespresso Deutschland GmbH. Before starting his new role, Mario was HR Director for the Western Europe Entity.
Benjamin Franke, MARKETING DIRECTOR NORTHERN EUROPE ENTITY
Benjamin has been responsible for the Northern Europe Entity as Marketing Director since September 1, 2023. He started his career at Storck in 2003 and moved to the Coca-Cola Company in 2005. In 2010, Benjamin began his career at Pernod Ricard Germany as Senior Brand Manager Havana Club and Malibu. In 2012, he was promoted to Marketing Manager Rum, Whisky & Prestige. In 2015, he took over the Big Night Out portfolio before taking up his position as Head of Marketing in Switzerland within the Pernod Ricard Group from 2016 to 2018. In September 2018, Benjamin returned to Germany as Marketing Director.
Vanessa Bischoff, INTEGRATED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR NORTHERN EUROPE ENTITY
Vanessa joined Pernod Ricard Germany in April 2024 as Integrated Operations Director Northern Europe and is part of the management team for Germany and the Northern Europe Entity. She previously worked as Head of Supply Chain at Pernod Ricard Germany. Her career spans several years in supply chain and operations, working with major companies such as PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble. During her time as an independent consultant, she worked with various global players and renowned brands in the spirits industry.
Alexandra Notari, LEGAL DIRECTOR NORTHERN EUROPE ENTITY
Alexandra has been a member of the management team of the Pernod Ricard Germany & Northern Europe Entity since September 2023, where she heads the legal department. She started her professional career at Lufthansa. In 2018, she moved to Paris to join Pernod Ricard and supported various sales companies of the company in Western and Southern Europe as well as Africa before taking over the position of Head of Legal for Pernod Ricard Germany & Western Europe in 2022.
Marc Mirgel, COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR DEUTSCHLAND
Since September 15, 2025, Marc has been the Commercial Director at Pernod Ricard Germany, overseeing the Sales and Trade Marketing team. He brings over two decades of industry experience. His career in the spirits industry began at Diageo, where he held various international leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Commercial Director Germany Off Trade, managing the business for the German grocery retail sector, key account management, and organizational development. Prior to that, Marc was Managing Director of Diageo Suisse and Head of Reserve Portfolio Central Europe, where he led the integration of the Reserve Brands into the main organization. He also spent many years working in Global Travel Retail for Diageo, including in the U.S. for the Americas South business.
