Pernod Ricard's international artist residency programme selects illustration graduates from from the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs – PSL to travel to countries where the Group operates, where they are immersed across the business and create original illustrations. 

In 2025, Armelle Antier travelled to Ireland, Astrid Guinet to Japan and Jules Fournier to Türkiye.

Astrid Guinet

After earning a degree in Modern Literature, Astrid discovered animated film at the École des Arts Décoratifs – PSL in Paris, as well as at the Tokyo University of the Arts (Geidai). Today, she is a director, illustrator and animator. She enjoys translating human emotions and internal thoughts into images, as well as capturing moments from everyday life.

“It was a wonderful opportunity for me to express my feelings, especially during my visit to the ceramics workshop – a traditional place with a timeless atmosphere.”

Jules Fournier

Residency location: Türkiye

With a degree in printmaking from ENSAD in 2024, Jules is inspired by his suburb of Marne-la-Vallée, its landscapes, its construction sites and the workers who bring them to life. He aspires to become both a printmaker and a visual artist, through photography, oil painting and printmaking.

« I was amazed by the size of the city, the buildings and the kindness of the inhabitants. I worked a lot with light, which was both warm and omnipresent. It was truly a unique experience.»

Armelle holds a degree in interior design from Arts Décoratifs de Paris - PSL. Since then, she has been working as an artist and illustrator, with a keen interest in any creative work related to a specific place, use or history.

"Spending two months in a different country, discovering new people and new places, makes us feel truly alive. What I will take away from this residency is the importance of feeling connected."
