Responsib'All Day 2017: 1st extraction of honey

Article 20/09/2017

#CréateursDeConvivialité, but also supporters of biodiversity and creators of honey!

Last June, Pernod Ricard's 18 500 employees experienced their 7th consecutive edition of Responsib'All Day through 103 worldwide projects. The challenge was to bring to life Pernod Ricard's S&R motto " let's live together, better " by working towards preserving biodiversity.

The 400 employees of Pernod Ricard's headquarters in Paris and its EMEA affiliate have built 80 beehives for Bee Happy Miel Association, which will increase honey production in Paris by 5 to 10% over the next 3 years.

Our teams got the opportunity to participate the first large-scale extraction of a tasty honey in Paris, respecting the 4 key steps of the process: removing the frames from the hive, cutting the wax seals to extract the honey, placing the frames in the extractor and putting it on, pressing the waxes.
