Passport among Top 10 fastest growing spirits

PassportThis success is part of Chivas Brothers' quest to target new emerging markets for Scotch whisky and grow Pernod Ricard's whisky portfolio.

Impact Magazine, a major trade media title published in the US and notable for its industry-wide tracking and statistics, analysed data to create a league table of growth in that segment.

According to Impact, Passport was the 6th fastest growing spirit brand amongst the Top 15 Growth Brands, recording an estimated 14% growth.

This news is particularly encouraging as Passport plays an increasingly important part in Pernod Ricard's whisky strategy, offering an exciting portfolio entry point in to imported spirits and Scotch whisky.

This is particularly important in Passport's three lead markets, Brazil, Mexico and Angola where the brands dynamic leadership and growth continues to fuel global expansion.
