I'm lucky to work with a diverse range of leading brands across Champagne, wine and spirits. I think Pernod Ricard really does lead the way in innovation, not just within the brands themselves but as a core value, genuinely encouraging all employees to develop and show entrepreneurial spirit.

With the support of markets I’ve had the opportunity to work across several roles, from starting as a National Account Manager in the UK On-Premise team to heading up the Customer Development at Pernod Ricard Australia and now I’m the Marketing Manager for Wines.

The role for Marketing is multi-faceted and involves strategic planning of brand and portfolio initiatives, delivering best-in-class innovation to market, and execution of brand activations across all touchpoints of the marketing mix. As a result, working within Pernod Ricard Australia's marketing network will see you develop your skill set beyond the usual, working with some of the most luxurious and famous liquor brands in the world. What are the vital ingredients that we’re looking for? We search for a mix of creativity, strong innovation skills, emotional intelligence, strategic vision, capacities for planning and financial management, and of course, bringing your own personal style to the table.

Our Sales teams are committed to developing our brands and company leadership nationally. We pride ourselves on creating mutually beneficial business relationships with our partners. The areas of expertise for our sales roles include negotiation, price management, customer management, key account management and category management to name a few. These true entrepreneurs are always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow while developing strategies to increase market share. What are those vital ingredients that we’re looking for? We search for pragmatic individuals with a dynamic, positive attitude. They work with integrity and possess strong emotional intelligence, advanced negotiation skills, excellent planning abilities and a passion for results.

As a business unit of Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Pernod Ricard Australia benefits from shared departments known as corporate functions. These corporate functions work in collaboration with all the Pernod Ricard Winemakers business units and are spread across the Australian and New Zealand sites.These corporate functions include:

Finance : The Finance teams provide expertise to the company by providing insights on the financial performance to the management team, actively supporting the decision making process and by coordinating the annual strategic budget planning.

Commercial Strategy: The Commercial Strategy team provides Sales & Marketing teams with category reporting and insights, supports customer business reviews, leads category projects with key retailers, to identify and deliver profitable growth opportunities.

Business Information Services: The Business Information Services (BIS) team supports the company in all facets of information technology.

Human Resources: The Human Resources team supports the company with expertise in recruitment, talent management, learning & development, remuneration and rewards as well as supporting the business in opening up the potential of our people.

Legal and Corporate Affairs: The Legal and Corporate Affairs team provide a variety of support to the company, primarily by ensuring the companies’ interests are protected through the provision of timely and accurate legal advice. The team is also responsible for maintaining government relations and corporate affairs.

Communications :  The Communications team is responsible for internal communication, corporate communication and global brand communication.

Global Marketing: With a focus on innovation, consumer insights and global brand strategy development, the Global Marketing team works closely with Pernod Ricard market companies worldwide to strengthen our knowledge and expertise of the Group’s key wine and spirit brands.
