Responsible consumption

Pernod Ricard is aware of the risks posed to individuals and society by excessive or inappropriate alcohol consumption. The Group encourages the general public, particularly young adults, to drink in moderation.

In France and throughout the world, Pernod Ricard supports public health policies aimed at preventing high-risk behaviour and situations. Accordingly, the Group leads various prevention and research initiatives.

These actions represent Pernod Ricard’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, with the Group’s employees its principal ambassadors.



The World Health Organisation defines safe alcohol consumption as not exceeding  14 standard drinks  per week for women and  21 glasses per week for men, avoiding more than four glasses  on  a single occasion. WHO recommands  not to drink  once a week and during at risks situation (driving, pregnancy....)
